My Day in Books…

There is a little bookish meme making its rounds across the web today, and it looked like a fun one. All you do is fill in the bold bits with one of the titles that you have read this year…. It’s called “My Day in Books”….

I began the day with The Gentle Art of Domesticity…

On my way to work I saw The Stone Angel

and walked by the Wide Sargasso Sea

to avoid Ethel and Ernest

but I made sure to stop at The Dressmaker of Khair Khana.

In the office, my boss said, “Not in Front of the Servants

and sent me to research The Secret Language of Dogs.

At lunch with Doctor Thorne,

I noticed Emily, Alone

under The Ghost Map,

then went back to my desk, Radioactive.

Later, on the journey home, I bought An Imaginative Experience

because I have The Social Calendar;

then settling down for the evening, I picked up The Scrapbook of Frankie Pratt

and studied The Letters of a Woman Homesteader

before saying goodnight to The Warden.
