Monthly Summary for July 2013

julyJuly has been a very busy month (as was June and May) and so, for the first time in a long time, my reading and blogging took a back seat to life and work.

I read the following titles (with links to blog posts about said book where there is one):

Sad, Mad and Bad – Lisa Appignanesi (no post) NF

Cheerfulness Breaks In – Angela Thirkell (no post) F

Elephants Can Remember – Agatha Christie (no post) F

Winter Wheat – Mildred Walker F

Methland – Nick Reding NF

Favorite Words of Famous People – Lewis Frumkes (no post) NF

The Southwest Corner – Mildred Walker F

Dunster – John Mortimer F

Rapunzel’s Revenge Shannon Hale/Dean Hale F

One and the Same (twins) – Abigail Pogrebin NF science writing

The Light in the Forest – Conrad Richter F

Total number of books read in July:  12

Fiction/Non-Fiction:  8 fiction / 4 non-fiction

Library books vs. books I owned (and thus removed from the home abode):   6 library books and 6 owned books.

I also read 0 electronic books (who are owned by no one and everyone!) Wow. That’s odd that there was no e-reading. I think this is principally due to the new office set up and duties. We will see how that continues.
